About this format

How Pix QR code works

Create a static Brazilian Pix QR in EMV BR Code format with a key, merchant details and optional BRL amount.

Static-only format

What the QR code contains

The generator builds a Pix copy-and-paste payload with the Pix key, recipient name and city, transaction ID and optional amount or description. It calculates the required CRC16 checksum.

Where it works

Pix is used through participating Brazilian financial institutions. The payer needs a banking or payment app that can read Pix QR codes.

Limits to check

The payload is stored directly in a static QR and cannot be edited after printing. The generator checks the selected key format but cannot confirm ownership or whether a transfer succeeds.

Illustration. The working code is created in the builder above.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What happens after the code is scanned?

The device recognizes the encoded data and offers a suitable action. The exact behavior depends on the camera, operating system and installed apps.

Can I change a static QR code after downloading it?

No. Its data is written into the image. If the content changes, create and test a new QR code.

Is an internet connection required for scanning?

Recognizing the code itself does not require the internet. A connection is needed when the result opens a website, file or another online resource.

How should I prepare a QR code for print?

Keep strong contrast, a clear quiet zone and the correct proportions. Test a sample on several devices at the final print size.
