About this format

How Meeting QR code works

Create a QR code for a Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams or other HTTPS meeting link.

What the QR code contains

Choose the meeting service and enter its join link. For Zoom, you can instead enter a 9–11 digit meeting ID and passcode to build a zoom.us join URL.

Where it works

The link can open in a browser or the installed meeting app. Access still depends on the organizer's settings, account requirements, waiting room and meeting schedule.

Limits to check

A QR code does not create or schedule the meeting, admit a participant or bypass a passcode. Avoid printing confidential join data where anyone can scan it.

Illustration. The working code is created in the builder above.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What happens after the code is scanned?

The device recognizes the encoded data and offers a suitable action. The exact behavior depends on the camera, operating system and installed apps.

Can I change a static QR code after downloading it?

No. Its data is written into the image. If the content changes, create and test a new QR code.

Is an internet connection required for scanning?

Recognizing the code itself does not require the internet. A connection is needed when the result opens a website, file or another online resource.

How should I prepare a QR code for print?

Keep strong contrast, a clear quiet zone and the correct proportions. Test a sample on several devices at the final print size.
