FAQ
About creating barcodes online
Which barcode format should I choose?
The system where the code will be used decides. If you were given a number and format requirements, follow them exactly; do not swap one standard for another just because the barcodes look alike.
Does the generator issue an official product number?
No. The tool only encodes the value you enter into an image. It does not register identifiers and does not confirm your right to use a number.
How is PNG different from SVG?
PNG is a raster image with a fixed size. SVG keeps the lines as vectors and is handy for scaling inside a layout. The choice depends on the requirements of your print job or interface.
Can I change the color of a barcode?
Yes, the settings include the line color and the background. Keep the contrast strong and test the final file with the scanner and at the size that will be used in practice.

A QR code holds text-based scenarios, and its design can be adjusted in a separate editor.
